Jackson San Miguel, LMT

Obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education with a specialization in medical sports
sciences, graduated in 2008 in Cuba.
Jackson moved to Washington, DC in 2013 and transferred her bachelor’s degree to the United States. He attended Northern Virginia School of Therapeutic Massage, Falls Church, VA and became a Licensed Massage Therapist in 2016.
Jackson is knowledgeable in different techniques such as lymphatic massage, TMJ deep facial massage, muscle activation release, neuromuscular therapy, hot stones, Tao Te Chig (Chinese medicine), holistic therapy, sports massage, and athletic Thai stretching. Mixing of these techniques, it has been possible for him to improve the quality of life of many clients according to the specific needs of each one, achieving surprising results and providing the necessary tools to recover physical and emotional feelings.
He integrates ancestral traditions and philosophies in the development of therapeutic methods that have given excellent results. Looking for the harmonic connection of body and mind, thus obtaining a healthy and lasting life. With the aim of achieving a better quality of life for people, he focuses on the root of the issue more than the symptoms. The root of any type of issue is the best way to heal our body as much as possible.
Jackson has over 18 years of experience in the therapeutic field and continuing education, currently a member of Associated Bodywork & Massage Professionals. Other career areas of interest include sports and wellness, becoming an Aquatic Spinning Instructor, Aquatic Group Exercise Instructor and Spinning Instructor in 2018.

Tara Labbafi, LMT – Former PT

She is a former physical therapist who has been in the field of massage therapy, practicing and teaching anatomy, massage techniques, and body mechanics for 22 years. Tara implies regular Swedish and Deep Tissue techniques, NMT (neuromuscular techniques), Neuromuscular resetting, MET (muscle energy techniques) Myo skeletal Alignment techniques, PNF, and other modalities such as cupping, lymph Drainage, prenatal to treat and heal the disorders in clients. She also has the eyes and education to assess and treat clients with pathologies such as Sciatica, Thoracic Outlet Syndrome, Piriformis syndrome, Spondylitis, Spondylolisthesis, frozen Shoulder, tension headaches, sports related injuries or issues and other postural problems.
